A scorecard is an application or custom user interface that helps you manage your organization's performance by understanding, optimizing, and aligning organizational units, business processes, and individuals. It also provides internal and industry benchmarks, goals, and targets that help individuals understand their contributions to the organization. At the strategic level, scorecards are part of a corporate-wide performance management system that executives use to map corporate strategy and communicate it throughout the organization. At the tactical level, employees and managers use scorecards to monitor performance against targets for discrete, specific projects.

Dashboard
AA dashboard is an application or custom user interface that helps you measure your organization's performance to understand organizational units, business processes, and individuals. Conceptually a subset of a scorecard, it focuses on communicating complex performance information quickly. Just like an automobile dashboard, it has meters and gauges that represent underlying information. They translate data from disparate systems into visually rich presentations using gauges, maps and charts, to show multiple results together. Dashboards provide a single version of the truth, the data is flexible enough to drill down or switch views if needed, and the data is always available.

KPI
KPI's represent a set of measures focusing on those aspects of organizational performance that are the most critical for the current and future success of the organization. KPI's should be monitored weekly, daily or even 24/7 for some. They are current or future oriented measures as opposed to past measures and are actionable.
